21 January - Peer Software announces the release of PeerSync v8.0.2, and PSListener 3.0.1. The patch offers improved overall performance during real-time detection and during scans. In addition, several updates have been made to enhance existing features as well as to address reported issues.

4 January - Software Shelf releases Print Manager Plus 2010. The new version not only makes printing 100 percent more efficient, it enables fast, state of the art print controls and accounting, significant reductions of waste and increased cost savings – all while dramatically lowering IT and hardware resource requirements for any organisation.

3 January - Purple Rage announces new branding and website. After many months of research, design and development, Purple Rage have now released their new branding and a completely new website. All the changes made have been tailored to better positioning Purple Rage as a premier supplier of software for Windows, Linux and Macintosh. With Peer Software, Likewise and Deskcenter Solutions as our premier manufacturers, the new website will allow us to better serve, present and support their products.
